Task: Find an event
User : Male, 22 years
Step 1: The users starts the application, the interface starts loading. He mutters “cool icon”, he keeps looking at it waiting for something to happen. He suspects it to be a bug in the application so he restarts the application. Now he randomly taps the icon and the next frame appears, he says “finally…”
Step 2: The next step is the frame of customization with different preferences for the user. The users chooses to skip this saying, “ I already know what I am searching for”.
Step 3: The user proceeds with clicking the event section. The list of all events can be displayed.
Step 4: The user can know make their decision of which event they want to find out more about. The user says” It would be good if you could sort the different types of events, also which one of these fitness centers is closest to me?”.

Q:Was the task hard to complete?
A: No not really, however I believe the core functionality of the app could be improved and that the starting screen doesn’t require you to tap for it to proceed.
Q: Why didn’t you decide to use the preference section of the app more?
A: In my case I already knew what I wanted to do, however I believe that it was smart to have this function because other users do not know exactly what they desire.
